The Friday Wrap: Pre-Orders, Galleys, Book Signings, and...Snow..?

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

UP is now available for pre-order through your favorite online bookseller. Pre-orders are very important to a new author. Big numbers make everyone sit up and take notice; the greater the number of pre-orders, the more successful the book's launch. If you're planning on buying UP, please consider pre-ordering -- thanks!

Galleys!! -- UP, in bound galley form, is now being sent to reviewers nationwide. A bound galley is the pre-publication version of a book, the almost-finalized text bound with a temporary cover.

Book signings -- There will be two book signing events during the first week or two of publication. One event will be in Lincoln, New Hampshire and the other will probably be in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I'll post dates and times when everything's confirmed.

Snow..?? -- On the local hiking front -- where's the snow? Yesterday, the girls and I hiked Mt. Israel, a 52 With A View mountain; we scampered up bare ledges instead of the usual December ice and snow. 'Twas a bit odd.

Have a great weekend, everyone!
