Backpacker Magazine's Get Out More Women's Tour

This evening, the girls and I had the pleasure of attending one of Backpacker Magazine's Get Out More Women's Tour events.  Samantha Brady and Rebecca Scholand, the Ambassadors for this female-specific tour, rocked the standing-room-only house in Framingham, Massachusetts with their enthusiastic and informative presentation.  They spoke about the Ten Essentials, gear, ladies-only trail issues, and more.  Alex, Sage, and I had a wonderful time.  Here's the list of their upcoming events -- go see them in person if you can.

The girls and I have known Samantha for almost two years, and we've had the pleasure of hiking with her three or four times.  She's a great person and a skilled outdoorswoman, and I can't think of a better Ambassador for Backpacker Magazine (except, of course, for Rebecca, who is also a great person and a skilled outdoorswoman!).  Check out their presentation if you can, and read their blog on Backpacker Magazine's website.  Good stuff.
