Mt. Elbert, Colorado. September 3, 2012
Wheeler Peak, New Mexico. September 6, 2012
Boundary Peak, Nevada. September 11, 2012
Very cool. Congratulations. That's an impressive trip. I did not do Elbert when I was in Colorado, but did a different 14,000 footer (Mt. Sherman). Dealing with the altitude is a whole different game. Can't wait to read your detailed report.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I am looking forward to seeing the reports. I LOVE the photo in your header.
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading your book, and so I decided to check out this webpage. Cool pics! You are all 3 very inspiring! I will definitely check back here to get the details on your Colorado trip. I went camping in the Rockies many years ago -- Beautiful mountains!
ReplyDeleteHi Asa,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the congratulations! Yes, I agree about the altitude. We spent about a week acclimating before we did Elbert. I'll write about our acclimation process in tomorrow's post.
Marcy, thank you! I like this photo too. :)
ReplyDeleteJanet, thanks for checking out the blog! Hope you like what you find and keep coming back.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you all made it back safely. We only have 3 highpoints under our belts so far but we can't wait for our next trip.
