Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!

This blog has received a lot of followers lately -- thanks for your support, everyone!  I'd like to ask you folks to do me a favor, though.  Please also follow our GIRLS ON THE WAY site.  That's where we're publishing most of our blog posts these days.  We're getting ready to walk the Camino de Santiago in March and April; GIRLS ON THE WAY documents our preparations, and, eventually, it'll chronicle our progress along the "The Way."

See you over there!

Hi folks,

Just a reminder that, from now until May 2013, we're publishing most of our posts on our "Camino" blog, GIRLS ON THE WAYGIRLS ON THE WAY documents our planning and, soon, our hike of the 500-mile Camino Frances portion of the Camino de Santiago.  We're hiking the Camino in March and April of 2013 to raise money for two female-empowering nonprofit organizations, Global Fund for Women and GirlVentures.

Visit GIRLS ON THE WAY for recent trip reports, fundraising updates and, soon, the trail journal of our 500-mile walk from St. Jean Pied de Port, France to Santiago, Spain.

(Thursday Things has not been forgotten!  We'll return to that list after we finish our Camino).

Happy New Year!

From now through spring, most of our updates will be posted on our new site, GIRLS ON THE WAY, as we prepare to walk the 500-mile Camino Frances portion of the Camino de Santiago.

We're walking to raise money for two female-empowering nonprofits, Global Fund for Women and GirlVentures.  Visit GIRLS ON THE WAY for more information about how you can donate to these two fine organizations.
