Wednesday Shout-Out: Granite Films

It's Backwards Day!  I'm posting the Wednesday Shout-Out before finishing yesterday's Tuesday Trip Report.  Oh well, sometimes that's just how it goes.

Today's Shout-Out goes to:

Granite Films is run by Jim Surette, adventure cinematographer and climber extraordinaire.  Want to film a documentary about ski mountaineering in Antarctica?   Need someone to get you on camera as you solo (climbing without ropes) New England's most  difficult ice routes?  Would you like to take an expert cinematographer up the sandstone cliffs of southern Jordan?  Want to shoot some film on top of a northern Presidential on a rainy day in 50 mph winds?  Jim's your fellow.  In addition to being a great climber and the best adventure cameraman on the planet, Jim frequently participates in New Hampshire search and rescue missions.  He's an all-around great guy -- and we're very fortunate to have him as our editor.  Jim's putting together the book trailer for UP: A Mother and Daughter's Peakbagging Adventure.  We should have the finished product in a couple of weeks.  Can't wait to see it.
