The Tuesday Trip Report...

...will have to wait until next week. Sage's Neverending Cough has yet to go away. She's had it for over three weeks...there are no other symptoms, but it would be nice for her to be 100% before she tackles the remaining 4Ks. The last eight mountains -- Owls Head, Carrigain, Isolation, North and Middle Tripyramid, Liberty, Flume, and Cabot -- are not exactly easy. In addition, the days are getting shorter and many, if not most, of our hiking days will require walking back to the car in headlamps. Add the increasingly cold weather, and we've got ourselves quite the challenge. Sage is bound and determined to beat or tie her sister's record for second youngest girl (Alex doesn't mind), so the clock is ticking. Alex finished the NH48 at the age of 6 years, 8 months, and 2 days. For Sage to reach her goal, she'll need to finish on or before November 26.

Good luck ladies! You can do it, Sage! Trish, if you need any car spots, trail magic or anything else, just let us know!

Many thanks, Dan and Meena! Actually, we do need a car spot for Isolation when the time comes...
